Lead Artist, Composer & Creative Director | Audio-Visual Light, Laser & Spatial Installation Performance

What | Interactive Installation & Performance
Client | SXSW Festival
Where | Austin, Texas
Commissioned for SXSW Festival, this project was conceived as an immersive audio-visual installation and live performance environment exploring the intersection of electronic music performance, spatial design, and sensory storytelling.

As Lead Artist and Creative Director, I developed a multi-sensory “space jungle” environment combining choreographed laser design, sculptural lighting, projection, and live musical performance. The installation transformed the performance venue into an evolving ecosystem in which sound, light, and spatial architecture functioned as interconnected compositional elements.

The work investigated how immersive environmental design can reshape audience perception and engagement within live music contexts. Using dynamic lighting systems, laser choreography, and layered electronic sound composition, the project created a responsive performance space that blurred boundaries between concert, installation, and participatory environment.

The performance explored themes of futurism, digital ecology, and speculative landscapes, positioning audiences within an experiential narrative that evolved through live improvisation and audio-visual interaction. By treating light, space, and sound as equal compositional materials, the project expanded conventional performance frameworks and investigated alternative models for audience immersion within festival and public performance settings.

This project forms part of my broader artistic and research practice exploring interactive composition, immersive performance environments, and interdisciplinary collaboration across music, visual art, and spatial storytelling.
