HOLISTIC ISLAND grew out of CATA.PIRATA’s lifelong passion for holistic health, whole-food nutrition, movement meditation, and overall well-being practices for womxn and the motherhood journey.

Humans can benefit from flow states in which we’re focusing on nothing in particular and instead wrapped up in the joy of just “being”.

Another similar technique is the concept of radical acceptance, which teaches that only by accepting the things that are out of our control can we truly end suffering.
MEDITATING INTO MOTHERHOOD.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.
EXPERIMENTATION.
We experiment with different meditations, from creative visualizations, various mind-body practices, loving-kindness, sound meditations, choiceless awareness, and many others.
You don’t need to follow any of these techniques if you don’t want to – some people prefer to stay with their tried-and-true regular practice.
